Annibale Carracci

Annibale founded a Bologna academy with his brother Agostino and cousin Ludovico, teaching artists including Guido Reni and Domenichino. He studied Correggio and Venetian painters before working in Rome at the Farnese Palace, where his mythological ceiling was completed in 1603–1604.
